Building Blog #1

Hey Folks,

I've been really busy setting up in the new space. It's part of a creative collective around the Sportstudio Freiburg. There's a very nice recording studio, an awesome photographer and a very cool band in here! One big creative family so to speak.

The room needs a lot of work! I've been told that it hasn't been in use for quite a while. Half of it is paneled with black foam, which doesn't sound very nice and it's musty and dirty. The other half is painted in this horrible orange color... 

So the panels had to go and the speakers had to be set up in this very cool construction in the Wall. Cable runs to the Amplifiers were way too long, since they were set up on a shelf right in the middle towards the ceiling, so we drilled a couple of holes in the side of the speaker housings to lead cables out the bottom instead. Now there's not a cable that's longer than 2m!
